The leadership here at Grace Bible Fellowship is comprised of men who desire to know, feed, lead, and protect those whom God has placed under their care.  Through prayer and the ministry of the Word, they seek to sacrificially serve the body of Christ and equip the saints for the work of the ministry.  You can reach our leadership team through the church office at office@gbfperu.org

Nathan Miller began as Pastor of Grace Bible Fellowship on June 23, 2025, after accepting the call and relocating from northwest Arkansas.

Nathan and his wife, Rylee, were married on May 10, 2017. They have three beautiful children, Todd, Eden, and Audrey. • Eric Bjerkaas - Elder

Eric began serving as an elder in 2021. His prayer is that through devotion to Biblical teaching and fellowship, GBF would be a church of increasingly Christ-like followers who lovingly speak the good news of Jesus so that others might also come to treasure and follow Him themselves (Ephesians 4:11-16, Matthew 19:21).

Eric has taught at La Salle-Peru High School since 2007. He and his wife, Andi, have four children.

  • Jeff Schenck - Deacon

Jeff Schenck began his role as Deacon here at Grace in February of 2023. He loves Christ more than anything else. He considers it a privilege to serve Christ and His body in any capacity He would have him to, and will do so for the joy of the sheep of His flock here at Grace, and ultimately for His glory, as he is His and he is theirs.

He also considers himself to be the most blessed man on earth for he has been given, by God, the most incredible and beautiful wife that loves the Lord along with four children to raise up.

  • Dan Kleinau -Deacon

Dan was called to serve as a Deacon here at Grace in 2026. Dan considers it a great honor to be able to serve Christ's body and the Lord as a Deacon. He prays that believers will be encouraged in their faith and challenged to use their gifts for God's glory as they attend Grace.

Dan enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine. He is grateful for the relationship that God allows them to share. They have a lot of fun running around with their energetic grandchildren. Dan also enjoys working as a teacher's aide at JFK Elementary School. He thanks the Lord for his kindness and goodness to Christine and himself over many years.

  • Amanda Lafferty - Administrative Assistant

Amanda and her husband Jason live in La Moille and have been attending Grace since February of 2019.  Both she and Jason became members in March of 2020.  Amanda has been the Administrative Assistant since May of 2020.  Amanda and Jason have 6 children, 3 granddaughters, and 3 grandsons. Both she and Jason desire to serve the church and grow the gospel in their personal lives, home, church, and community. You can reach Amanda in the office at office@gbfperu.org.
