As a local fellowship of Christians, we are diverse in age, ethnicity and background, but are unified by a set of beliefs that are drawn from the Scriptures and bind us together.  It is these basic beliefs that provide the foundation of our fellowship, worship, teaching, and ministry, both in manner and method.

A.  Of the Scriptures

We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the written Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and is supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; Hebrews 4:12)

B.  Of God the Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 5:7; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Of God the Father

We believe that God the Father is the first person of the Trinity.  He is an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love.  We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, He saves from sin and death, and He hears and answers prayers of all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ.  (Revelation 4:11; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 3:16; Isaiah 45:21-22; Exodus 15:11; Psalm 18:30; Proverbs 15:3; Exodus 15:6;
1 John 4:7-16)

Of God the Son

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who from eternity existed as God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit.  We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings.  We believe in His substitutionary atoning death through the shedding of His blood, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal, visible return to earth to reign in power and glory.  (John 1:1-14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:14-15; Acts 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Mark 15; Luke 24; Acts 1:9-11; Titus 2:13;
1 John 1:1-3; 1 John 5:9-10; John 14:10-11; Colossians 1:15-17; Matthew 1:18-25)

Of God the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine Person, equal with God the Father and God the Son, and of the same nature; that He was active in the creation; that in His relation to the unbelieving world He restrains the evil one until God's purpose is fulfilled; that He convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is an agent in the new birth and baptizes the believers into the body of Christ at the new birth.  He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and indwells the believer.  (John 14:16-17; Matthew 28:19; Hebrews 9:14; John 14:26; Luke 1:35; Genesis 1:1-3; John 16:8-11; Acts 5:30-32; John 3:5-6; Ephesians 1:13-14; Mark 1:8; John 1:33;Acts 11:16; Luke 24:49; Romans 8:14-16, 26-27;
1 Corinthians 12:12-13)

C.  Of the Devil or Satan

We believe in the reality and person of Satan, the Devil; he was created by God as an angel but through pride and rebellion became the enemy of his Creator; he became the unholy god of this age and the ruler of all the powers of darkness and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire. (Matthew 4:1-11; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10; 1 Peter 5:8; Isaiah 14:12-15)

D.  Of Creation

We believe in the literal scriptural account of creation; that "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made."  (John 1:3; Colossians1:16-17; Genesis.1; Genesis 2:7)

E.  Of Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell from his original state through his disobedience to God in the Garden of Eden.  We believe all succeeding members of the human race are sinners by nature and by choice and are therefore separated in relationship and fellowship from God.  (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3:6-7; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Romans 3:10-23; Genesis 2:17)

F.  Of Salvation

We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of God's grace; that Christ died, was buried, and rose again for the justification of sinners. We believe that the blood of Christ alone cleanses from sin. We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice and are therefore all under condemnation. We believe that those who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit by faith receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and are kept by the Father for all eternity.  Repentance is a change of mind and purpose toward God prompted by the Holy Spirit and is an integral part of saving faith. (Romans 3:10; John 3:18-19; John 1:12-13; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 4:4-5; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 8:38-39; Philippians 1:6)

G.  Of the Church

We believe in the church, the Bride of Christ, composed of all regenerated persons, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head.  We believe that a local church consists of immersed believers who have organized themselves for the purpose of doing God's will.  We believe it is scriptural for these local churches to cooperate with each other in contending for the faith and for the furtherance of the gospel.  We hold that the local church has the absolute right of self-government free from the interference of any hierarchy of individual(s), within or without, or organizations, and is the sole judge on all matters of membership, of policy, of government, of discipline; that the one and only authority is Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. The permanent offices of the local church are Elder and Deacon.  (Acts 2:41-42; Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 4:11; Acts 20:17-28; Acts 20:35; 1 Timothy 5:17; 1 Peter 5:1-4; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Isaiah 62:5; Revelation 19:7-9; Ephesians 5:23; Titus 1:6-9)

H.  Of Ordinances

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper, neither of which contributes to, is a part of, nor is necessary for salvation.  (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 8:26-39; John 3:23; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29; Luke 22:7-22; Colossians 2:12)

I.  Of Civil Government

We believe that civil government is of divine appointment for the interests and good order of human society; that government officials are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored, and obeyed, except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who is the only Lord of the conscience, and the coming King of Kings. (Romans 13:1-7)

J.  Of Future Events

We believe that the “Last Days” began with the Incarnation of Jesus Christ.  When He returned to heaven He sent the Holy Spirit to gather together a people who already enjoy life in the Kingdom but still await the Consummation when Jesus Christ returns in power and glory. When Christ returns the dead will be raised, the Kingdom fully consummated, Satan and his followers cast into the Lake of Fire to suffer eternal torment. Then Heaven and Earth will merge into a glorious eternal kingdom where the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit will eternally enjoy fellowship and communion with all those redeemed by Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:6-7; Luke 24:39; John 20:27; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Mark 16:6; Luke 24:2-6; Hebrews 8:6; 1 Timothy 2:5; 1 John 2:1; Hebrews 2:17; Hebrews 5:9-10; John 14:3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16; James 5:8; Hebrews 9:28; Daniel 9:24-27; Revelation 7:14; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:42-44; 1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Philippians 3:20-21; Luke 1:32; Isaiah 9:6-7; Acts 2:29-30; 1 Corinthians 15:25; Isaiah 32:1; Isaiah 11:4-5; Psalms 72:8; Revelation 20:6-14; Revelation 20:11-15; Revelation 20:1-10)
